Quality in the spotlight with Epta and De Angelis: restyling Macelleria Letizia in Caserta

Epta and De Angelis together once again to realise the new site of Macelleria Letizia, historical “boutique of excellent meat" in Caserta (Southern Italy). The activity, managed by the Letizia family, has been a landmark for local customers since 1960. To offer fresh quality products in an exclusive setting, it entrusted itself to Epta and its partner De Angelis Project & Design, specialised in turnkey furnishings of grocery stores, restaurants and pizzerias.

 

The client requested a striking location and refrigerated cabinets able to merge aesthetics, performance and function. To enhance the rich offer, Eurocryor proposed two traditional Bistrot refrigerated cabinets with large windows and display surface at the right height. The solution was personalised to respond to the needs of the client in terms of sizes and design. Eurocryor designed a special 5-metre version of the cabinet and De Angelis created a front that balances the space through a game of geometries and colour contrasts. The choice of black and gold finishes is daring, in continuity with the style of the shop, which enhance the perception of the quality of the meats, preparations and cheeses on display.

 

The unique look is joined by performance and efficiency. The patented Dynamic System technology, applied to Bistrot​, enables to store the meat in the cabinets for longer, without having to place it back in the cold rooms overnight, maintaining the organoleptic and aesthetic characteristics intact. It guarantees levels of humidity higher than 90% and, by reducing the average weight loss of meat, ensures maximum sales revenue.

        

Finally, cross-selling opportunities are increased by the possibility of positioning complementary foods such as wine, oil and sauces on the upper section of the Bistrot cabinets. Worthy of note is also the SkyView vertical cabinet by Bonnet Névé, ideal to highlight packaged products such as fresh pasta, cold cuts and cheeses. The clean lines and full-height doors improve visibility and the products take centre stage. With such a variety of choice, the family butcher's evolves into high-end gastronomy where you can enjoy a sensory experience involving and stimulating sight, taste and smell.  ​
