Epta, with its brands Eurocryor and Misa, partners a new initiative dedicated to the professional enrichment of young people and sponsors the course dedicated to future “Technicians specialised in the processing, enhancement and marketing of meats and salami”. Organised by the ITS Agrorisorse Foundation of Lodi, at the State Agrarian Technical Institute “A. Epta actively contributes to the programme through the donation of a Misa cold room, to allow students to apply the theoretical teachings on the ground and, through the organisation, as experts of the sector, of three specific categories of refrigeration. In particular, the most innovative techniques of preservation and technologies used by Eurocryor to improve the preservation and display of meat, such as the Dynamic System and the Adaptive System.

Worthy of note, is also the work by Misa experts, with which the young people will learn to recognise the essential qualities of a cold room and the importance of a correct storage of foods, with a focus on food safety, food security and the “secrets” of HACCP certification.

The first edition of the course, financed by the Lombardy Regional Operational Programme and by the European Social Fund, got underway on 28 January online and from March will be hosted at ITAS Tosi. It is free and will last six months, for a total of 1000 hours: 520 hours of face-to-face and practical lessons and another 480 hours of internship, to facilitate direct employment within the workplace.
